Andy has been a primary contributor to WR's portfolio of services, management consulting, training, and competitive analysis, since January 2000. Andy's primary focus is on visual and web collaboration solutions where he is an expert on the relevant technologies, user trends, and solution providers.

Andy has over 35 years of experience in high-technology product marketing and market research. Prior to Wainhouse Research, he held Director-level positions in product marketing, new business development, and market research at PictureTel Corporation, where he launched the Venue and Concorde group videoconferencing systems, created the business plan for SwiftSite (the first set-top videoconferencing appliance), and defined PictureTel's T.120-based information sharing strategy. Andy was also Vice President of Marketing at Visual Technology, a maker of IP-based network terminals, and Product Line Manager of entry SPARC workstations at Sun Microsystems. Andy has a B.S. in electrical engineering and MBA from the University of New Hampshire and holds two ease-of-use related patents.

For equipment vendors, solution providers, and resellers, Andy offers programs and projects to conduct and deliver (i) technology, market, and end-user research, market sizing, and needs verification; (ii) emerging applications profiling; (iii) product marketing strategy, programs, and implementation including positioning, pricing, and channels strategy; (iv) business development opportunity identification, evaluation, and business case development and implementation; (v) product roll-out planning and implementation including sales and channel collateral.
