When Microsoft announced it was adding PSTN calling and conferencing to Office 365 via its new E5 package this past summer, we had one collective question: “What will it cost?” On 9 November Microsoft shared with the analyst community pricing details. Enterprise streaming platform provider Qumu Corp. reported on November 5th a loss of $7.2 million on revenues of $9.6 million for the three months ended September 30. Qumu also trimmed expectations for its annual revenue growth. Steve parses the company's trajectory as it absorbs its Kulu Valley acquisition.

During the March 2015 Enterprise Connect keynote Microsoft’s Zig Serafin invited Polycom CEO Peter Leav to join him on stage. On cue, Peter pulled out of his pocket a RoundTable 100, a Skype for Business device that was being developed jointly by the two companies. Andrew parses the likely thinking behind abandoning the RT100, which we now hear is no longer in development.

Started in 2007 to augment Tandberg’s R&D team, Cisco shut down its Bangalore center last week. Andrew describes what we've seen out of the center (cameras, codecs, and the SX-10) but how this shutdown signals Cisco's future direction regarding video.
