Kaltura acquires Rapt Media to better differentiate Kaltura’s suite of video content publishing tools. Steve talks about how Rapt’s brand of “branchable videos” might set the stage for more personalized and engaging viewing experiences in the enterprise.
Today Polycom unveiled its unified cloud solutions strategy, Polycom Cloud Services, and release of a new service, Polycom Device Management Services (PDMS). More than six years ago, Qumu invested $3.1 million for a minority stake in Briefcam - though Briefcam's focus on the video security market never really was a strategic fit. So, while many considered it a boondoggle back then, the deal has recently become a lifesaver for a Qumu. Give Steve a few minutes to explain.
