Logitech to Aquire LifeSize

This research note provides insight and analysis into Logitech's pending acquisition of LifeSize.

On November 10, 2009, Logitech announced an agreement to acquire LifeSize Communications for $405M in cash. This is roughly the same ratio of sales-to-purchase price as the recently announced tender offer by Cisco for Tandberg. This is Logitech’s 8th acquisition to date as the company has put together a product line spanning keyboards, mice, webcams, speakers, home automation systems and other PC and “prosumer” peripherals.
