While still used by only a fraction of organizations that have implemented streaming solutions, technologies that enable employees to upload and share videos with co-workers are more widely available than ever before. This report quantifies the implementation of such video sharing capabilities – referred to by many industry participants as “Enterprise YouTube” – and segments adoption patterns based on company size, industry vertical, extend of archive production and annual budget for streaming technology implementation. Leveraging survey results from a WR Survey of 1,801 end users conducted in the fourth quarter of 2016, the report also showcases results on the proportion of workers that possess the skills to produce videos good enough to share and highlights the tools that individuals use most frequently to create the video to be shared on the corporate network.
