Barco is large manufacturer of hardware and software solutions including projectors, flat panel displays, video walls, and image processing solutions. At InfoComm 2017, Barco demo'd the new features available on its Overture software, an A/V control solution scheduled for general release in August 2017.

In this video interview, WR analyst Ira Weinstein had the opportunity to interview Jan Vanhoutte, the director of product management for Overture, about the product's new features and presence at InfoComm 2017.  The team at WR is very excited about Overture's new features, which include:

  • Behaviors - Users can create simple configurations to manage their A/V systems on per room, or per building-wide basis
  • Scheduling - Users can schedule behaviors across their enterprise (e.g. turn off all systems at 9 PM)
  • Integration with ClickShare - Users can now control all devices in a room by clicking a ClickShare Button on a PC with no need for an external display

As you can see from this video, Barco Overture offers users some powerful new features.  We can't wait to see what the teams comes up with next!
