February 2017 brought with it the 14th annual Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) event in Amsterdam.
This year’s expo made a big splash with record attendance with almost 1,200 AV vendors and service providers, 73,000 attendees from 150 countries (an all-time high, 11.7% increase from 2016), and more than 600 press and media personnel.
Never one to be left out, I attended ISE to meet with some of the industry’s biggest names debuting their latest and greatest technology and services. Three days of non-stop, hands-on, face-to-face meetings and briefings gave me the inside track on what we can expect in the coming months of 2017. This briefing note showcases a few of the highlights of my trip to ISE, particularly the latest in ideation solutions, video conferencing endpoints, microphone / audio systems, and more.
At the show, I tried to meet with as many companies as possible during this far-too-short event. My write-up represents what I saw and deemed interesting - and am allowed to talk about. This is not to say that other companies did not have something interesting to say at the event ... it just means that I didn't have a chance to drop by.
